But we have some great news. We are very happy to announce that all of our clubs in Ireland and the majority of our clubs in England are NOW OPEN. We are ready for any announcement on the reopening of gyms in Scotland and Wales. We hope this will be in a few weeks’ time. All of our clubs are locally owned and take the health, safety and wellbeing of members and staff very seriously. We know that many of you are really keen to get back to a better fitness routine and we want to assure you that you will be able to do so with full social distancing in a clean and safe training environment. We feel positive about our plan and can’t wait to see you where you belong at énergie Fitness.

Our safe exercise video explains more about the changes we are taking to keep our members safe.
We have a comprehensive health, safety and cleaning plan in place to ensure the safety of members and staff, while maximising the opportunity for our members to return to fitness.
We will be increasing the frequency of cleaning in all areas of the club, changing facilities and toilets as well as anything that is commonly touched (e.g. door handles, card readers and equipment). We will be providing all our staff with personal protective equipment including face masks. We will also be providing members with contactless entry and making hand sanitiser readily available for all.
We want to keep our members as safe as possible. So, we have created a new set of guidelines for using the gym. There are four golden rules:
- Don’t come in unless you are completely symptom-free.
- Stay 2m away from other members.
- Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly.
- Clean your workout space and equipment after use.
If we all work together as a community, we can still get the feel-good factor and feel safe and full of #positiveénergie at the same ¬time
We have developed new layouts with the right spacing and equipment in use to ensure we can maintain safe social distancing. We are also limiting the number of members who are allowed in a club at the same time.
The énergie App has been updated to enable members to see live capacity and check when we are busy and when we are quiet. We are also asking all members to book a slot via our updated booking system. Each slot is for 60 minutes which will ensure that everyone has a fair chance to use the gym.
All these measures will ensure that our clubs won’t be overcrowded and all our members feel looked after, happy, and safe.
