Vegan Pear & Cinnamon Oatmeal

Warm, comforting and full of flavour, this Vegan Pear & Cinnamon Oatmeal is the perfect wholesome breakfast for slower mornings. Creamy oats are paired with sweet pear and warming cinnamon to create a nourishing bowl that’s naturally satisfying, deliciously cosy and completely plant-based.

 METHOD

  1. Place the oats, water and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add in the chopped pears and half the almond milk, then stir well. ​ 

  2. When the oatmeal returns to a boil, lower the heat, cover with a lid, and let it simmer, stirring frequently, for about 15 minutes. Add milk to the rest of the milk as required. ​ 

  3. Once the oatmeal is smooth and creamy, turn off the heat. Then stir in the maple syrup and cinnamon.​ 

  4. Divide between two bowls and sprinkle with some more cinnamon and walnuts (optional). Serve straight away.​
